Your case
📋 Candidate brief
You are about to see Luna Castellano, a 31-year-old who makes and sells protective charms online. She was referred for "social anxiety" but the GP noted "unusual beliefs." She lives alone with several cats and has few contacts outside an online group of like-minded people. You have time for a focused assessment. You should aim to: - Build rapport without endorsing or attacking her unusual beliefs - Distinguish schizotypal cognitive-perceptual features from frank psychosis - Assess the social anxiety and its paranoid flavour - Screen for risk and for any progression toward a psychotic illness
